The Jordan Valley Authority declares a medium state of emergency and warns of the formation of torrential rains

Weather of Arabia - Due to weather forecasts, the Kingdom will be affected by an air depression classified in the third degree, starting on Wednesday, corresponding to 4/12/2023, and the accompanying heavy rains in various regions, God willing, which leads to the formation of torrents in the streams of the valleys and a rise in the water level in the water bodies

The Jordan Valley Authority announces the start of work within the medium emergency plan, as all necessary measures and preparations have been taken through all departments in the Jordan Valley, activating emergency rooms, and raising the readiness of cadres, mechanisms and equipment in the northern and central Jordan Valley regions, the Control Directorate and in all its affiliated directorates, and the southern Jordan Valley, as well as in all Dam sites in the Kingdom.

And the Jordan Valley Authority calls upon citizens, farmers, and livestock breeders to take all necessary precautions to protect property and lives, follow developments in the weather situation, and stay away from water gathering areas, dams, valley streams, and torrents.

The Jordan Valley Authority confirms that its shift teams in all of the Authority’s departments in the Jordan Valley will work around the clock to take all measures and meet the needs of citizens and within the highest levels of response, as well as deal with developments in the prevailing weather condition, noting that calls and notes are received on all emergency numbers.
